Balance your bacteria and lose weight

I found this very interesting article about the tiny things that live in us. My takeaway, eat more fruits and vegetables less sugar.

So what else to eat? Onions and garlic are especially rich in the prebiotic fiber inulin, which selectively feeds good bacteria within. Potatoes, bananas, and yams carry loads of digestion-resistant starches.

This is completely anecdotal, but hardly a day goes buy that i don’t have onions, garlic, potatoe, or bananas.
